Back by popular demand at the TeaFest PDX 2026, this session offers a deeper dive into the world of Raw Pu-er tea than what can be covered during the festival’s 45-minute time constraint. We will explore two major raw Pu-er tea-growing regions in Yunnan: Lincang City and Xishuangbanna Prefecture.

Together, we’ll explore the culture and traditions of local tea planters, learn about the Bulang, Wa, Lahu, and Hani minority groups, and discover what makes the teas from these regions so unique. And, of course, we’ll taste and enjoy a selection of Raw Pu-er teas from both regions along the way!
